Get to know a bit about those of us here at Sunset Hill who are part of our family business.

General Manager

When we moved to Kentucky I wasn’t even a year old yet, so Sunset Hill Farm is the only home I’ve ever known and I’m quite thankful for it. I am the sixth child in the family and I own 5 animals, Cheese and Tessa my dogs, Avery my horse, Fitz and Norma, my cats. I love to watch the puppies grow up and learn about the world around them. Watching them develop their individual personalities is amazing. I’m a bit sad to see them go, but I love to see how happy families are when they get their puppies, so it’s not a problem for me to see them off. I love to see the pictures families send of their puppies/dogs after they take them home. I enjoy horse-back riding, drawing, painting, and some photography as well. I showed horses in 4-H when I was younger, I enjoyed it and learned a lot. One of my favorite memories of our farm is ‘racing’ on our horses when we were younger. I had a pony at the time, so I didn’t win often, but it was always fun!

I live off the farm now and also work full-time at a dog grooming salon as a bather. For fun I love to hang out with friends, craft and go to concerts.

Social Media Master, Phone/Text Extraordinaire, Bean’s Owner

I love everything about having puppies! I especially love to spend time with them and get to know them as they grow up. Right now I help to feed the animals and make sure they're taken care of, answer texts and phone calls and post on our social medias. I love having the space to do things like ride my bike, play with the dogs and kids, and jump on our trampoline. I'm the ninth kid in our family and I also like to spend time inside playing games and reading books.

Animal Caretaker

Here on the farm I pursue hobbies like forging, drawing, and gaming. I like playing with the puppies and just holding them, especially when they're younger. I'm the seventh kid in our family.

Animal Caretaker, Taffy’s Owner

One thing I love about living on a farm is that there are fewer people and more space. Playing with puppies is one of my favorite things to do when we have them. I am the eighth kid in my family, and in my spare time I like to draw and play video games. I own Taffy, one of Cheese’s puppies from January 2020.

I am the tenth and youngest in our family. I help with the dog and puppy feeding and care. I love to play outside with the dogs and puppies. I like to jump on our trampoline, ride bikes, and run around outside. I also like to make crafts, read, and learn to cook and bake.

I feel so incredibly blessed to have the opportunity over the past 15 years to meet so many wonderful people and to care for so many awesome dogs and puppies. I have loved animals since I was little, and our family always had a dog and a cat (or two) so that we kids could learn responsibility and animal care. I wanted the same for my children, and they have responded with amazing abilities and hearts. In turning over control and management to them recently, I am so proud of their abilities and ideas as they continue to build our breeding/puppy raising business. I manage the business meetings to make sure that things are getting the attention they need, and I keep in touch with our guardian home families and dogs.

I’m the oldest girl in the family, and started my career by bringing the first Aussie into the business. Rylla was a phenomenal mom who is now retired at my great-uncle’s farm. Her litters paid my way through college with an associate’s in Veterinary Technician and a bachelor’s in Psychology. As a mom myself with two boys and a cute step-daughter of our own, my family is branching off to host our own website for the Aussiedoodle puppies we raise. Look up our Facebook page for news and pictures. You can find us at allonsydogs.com to see when we expect our next litters of awesome Aussiedoodles! I have always loved the French word “allonsy” let’s go! That’s the embodiment of the Aussie personality and the Aussiedoodle carries that same love of life and familiy.
