Our breeding group is the base of our wonderful puppies! We look long and hard for family-friendly dogs that will pass on a great temperament for family companions.

ANNIE

Annabelle is a puppy we kept from our second goldendoodle litter 5 years ago. She is a great companion when we are puttering around the yard and lays on the porch in the sun or the shade, depending on the season. She has only been bred once a year because she tends to have humongous (no kidding!) litters of 16 and 17. Her last litter was 14 because we limited her breeding. Her next litter will be summer 2010.

KATIE

Katie, aka Lady Sonoma, is a beautiful flat-coated Golden Retriever with some champions in her bloodline. She has great conformation and, most importantly, is sweet and gentle in playing and romping. She has bred with Red and we expect her litter due June 2010.

COKIE

Sunny Side Coquette is a beautiful silver-cream Goldendoodle from Blondie's last litter the summer of 2008. Here she is before her first clip, and after he spring clip. She is playful and curious and loves to romp with the kids in the yard. She has bred with Cash, a nice boy down the road, and promises to make great-looking and sweet-tempered pups.

RYLLA

Meet Belén's new dog. Ever since her last mama dog was retired, she has been looking here and there for another mama so she could raise her own litter and build her college fund--if there's any left after taking care of her horses. She researched Aussiedoodles and really liked the mix. Rylla, a cute and sweet red tri-color Aussie, will be a new mama next year with a litter of Australian Shepherd/Poodle hybrid puppies.

Introducing...Sunset Red Romeo!

Here is our new sire! We just love his color and he is as sweet and friendly as Buddy with his own little quirky personality. We have found him to be intelligent--he only got hit by the swing once before he learned to stay out of the way--loving--he promptly snuggles up and licks when we get down on his level--and did I mention his gorgeous color?! We look forward to many litters with this beautiful AKC purebred poodle, the first of which we will see this summer.

MEET BUDDY!

Our Caramel Sundae of Sunset, aka Buddy, says hello! He has a temperament as close to a Golden Retriever as I could find in a poodle. As you can see, he is as gentle as he is handsome. He still has that exciteable energy of the standard poodle and fairly dances in front of me when he's ready for a pat. He was the stud of our Goldendoodle litters of the last two years. He is now a therapy dog for the elderly in Texas and is doing great with his new family.

BLONDIE BELLE

Our page would not be complete without pictures of Blondie. Papa and Skeeter (Grandpa and Grandma) gave us Blondie as a puppy many years ago. She is our foundation mother and gave us both Annie and Cokie. She has been retired now and is living down the road with a lovely family with kids, where she loves to be. She would still be here, except that she developed a knack for killing chickens. Now she has a home with no chickens. She has passed on her sweet temper and calm demeanor to Annie and Cokie and their puppies.
